Long time, no post! As I’m sure you all have realized by now, 2020 has been an… interesting and different… year. This has thrown some curveballs in all of our lives, and believe it or not– mine too. Many of the recent posts here had been scheduled months in avance.

But enough of that! Here’s a nice treat– the complete FM broadcast of the Killers’ appearance in Vienna from 2005. Since this was broadcast on air, there are some air checks (mainly saying who the band is and where it is, nothing major.)

Aside from being a high-quality recording from the boys on the Hot Fuss tour, this show is notable for featuring one of only 23 performances of ‘Where Is She (Soft Surrender)’. For the uninitiated, this track was written after Brandon heard of the murder of Scotland teen Jodi Jones. After hearing the story, Brandon decided to write a song about it from the perspective of one of Jones’ parents. It wound up being unreleased at the request of Jones’ parents.
